I'm Amaris, a fantasy and science fiction writer and copyeditor.

I wrote my first story when I was a kid, a short story called Tim Snail and the Dog (guess what it was about), and I've been writing ever since! I'm currently working on the third draft of a novel I started in 2022, Sacred Bell, which I plan to self-publish as my debut.

I discovered my interest in editing back in 2021 after taking an online course to learn how to edit my own work. I did a few projects for friends over the years, and officially launched my freelance editing business in late 2025.

 

​My interests outside of writing and editing include reading (you could probably guess that one!), ballet, video/board games, and watching my favorite streamers/Youtubers. ​​
